On March 7, a delegation from the Textile-Leather and Fashion College of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam) visited our college. In-depth discussions and exchanges were held on topics including joint talent cultivation cooperation programs and disciplinary development. Vice Director of the International Exchange Office Yi Hui, Vice Deans of the College Jiang Huiyu and Ke Wei, Director of the Light Chemical Engineering Department Yan Chao, and several full-time faculty members attended the meeting.
During the symposium, the college extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Both sides introduced their respective colleges’ development history, talent teams, research directions, disciplinary development, and student cultivation practices. The discussions focused on joint talent cultivation, with both parties expressing expectations to enhance disciplinary development through resource sharing, collaborative curriculum development, and faculty exchanges. Preliminary discussions were also conducted on potential future research collaborations and joint practical projects, aiming to jointly advance the development of textile discipline research and practice.
The delegation also visited the Textile Science and Technology Museum at our university. They highly commended the institution’s achievements in textile technology innovation and the inheritance of Chinese culture.
